
Level 4 Controlling Lifting Operations – Supervising Lifts
This Level 4 NVQ qualification is designed for those working in the construction industry who want to supervise the lifting of suspended loads, including the use of cranes, hoists and other lifting equipment.
This NVQ is suitable for anyone looking to upgrade their NPORS/CPCS Crane/Lift Supervisor Card from Red to Blue.

Assessment Methods
Evidence for your NVQ will be gathered by a qualified assessor through a combination of assessment methods (on-site visits, observations, knowledge questions and evidence gathering). You will work with your assessor to build an NVQ portfolio that will demonstrate competence.
Next Steps
On completion of your NVQ qualification and the Supervisors Health, Safety and Environment Test (completed within the last 2 years), you will be able to apply to upgrade your CPCS/NPORS Red card to Blue.
