
The occupational work supervision is an NVQ level 3 qualification which is aimed at and suitable for all supervisors in the construction industry wanting to attain there gold card. The qualification structure below specifies the combination of units that are needed to be achieved for the individual to be awarded the qualification.
CSCS Gold Card

On completion of your NVQ qualification, along with passing the relevant CITB HS&E test (within the last 2 years), you will be able to apply for the gold supervisor card.
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
The structure of this qualification is built up using mandatory units and optional units, six mandatory units must be completed alongside two optional units to attain the full credit value of this qualification.

Co-ordinating and Confirming Dimensional Control of
Requirements of the Work in the Workplace
Evidence Required
Evidence will be gained using a method of assessments. The assessor will carry out site visits to aid with gaining evidence around the national occupational standards. Knowledge based sessions will take place as well as professional discussions and direct observations. Product evidence will also be used from a range of day to day paperwork a supervisor will use to conduct his works.
