<li>Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007.</li>
<li>Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) 2015.</li>
<li>Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.</li>
<li>Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.</li>
<li>The Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1992.</li>
<li>The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.</li>
<li>The Work at Height Regulations 2005.</li>
<li>Learners who have completed courses such as SSSTS or SMSTS will have gained the knowledge to meet these expectations. However, this is not a mandatory pre- requisite.</li>

<p>The CITB SSSTS course is designed for supervisors in the construction sector.</p>
<p>This course covers relevant health and safety, welfare, and environmental issues on site. It will highlight the importance of supervisors promoting health and safety in the workplace and following their legal responsibilities.</p>
<p>With this knowledge, you will be able to supervise site work within construction legislation whilst keeping the work safe through adequate supervision.</p>

<li>There are no formal entry requirements, however it is recommended for learners to have the following:.</li>
<li>Good understanding of spoken and written English.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Course Content</h2>
<ul>
<li>Health and Safety at Work Act.</li>
<li>The Role of the Supervisor.</li>
<li>Behavioural Safety in the Workplace.</li>
<li>PPE.</li>
<li>Site Inductions &amp; Toolbox Talks.</li>
<li>Risk Assessments &amp; Method Statements.</li>
<li>Monitor site activities effectively.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Assessment</h2>
<p>Two (2) Days – Classroom-based and Online Options available</p>
<p>Learners must attend both days (15 hours) and pass the end of course assessment to be eligible for certification.</p>
<h2>Certification</h2>
<p>Successful candidates will be issued with an CITB Site Supervision Safety Training</p>
<p>Scheme certificate (valid for 5 years).</p>
