Description
About the NVQ
Engineering surveying covers two related skill sets: collecting survey data from the real world to create accurate maps of existing detail, and setting out designed data from plans into the real world. The Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying covers both — from levelling and total station use through to GNSS and construction setting-out technologies — giving experienced or developing surveying staff a nationally recognised qualification that reflects their skills.
If you’re already doing this work, it turns your day-to-day workshop or site experience into formal, recognised proof of your competence — and supports your application for a Gold Skilled Worker CSCS Card.
