Description
About the NVQ
Erecting and striking formwork is safety-critical, hands-on work — positioning, securing and later removing the timber and proprietary systems that hold concrete in shape while it cures, then maintaining that formwork for reuse. The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Formwork (Formwork Erector and Striker) gives experienced operatives a nationally recognised way to have that competence formally assessed.
If you’re already doing this work, it turns your day-to-day site experience into formal, recognised proof of your competence — and supports your application for a Blue Skilled Worker CSCS Card.
