Description
About the NVQ
Planning the lifting of suspended loads on a construction site carries real responsibility — get it wrong and people get hurt. The Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations (Planning Lifts) gives experienced lift planners a nationally recognised way to have that responsibility formally assessed, as the route to becoming a competent Appointed Person.
If you’re already doing this work, it turns your day-to-day planning experience into formal, recognised proof of your competence — and opens the door to the CPCS/NPORS Blue Competent Operator Card.
