The aim of the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Construction and Civil Engineering Operations (Construction) qualification aims to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. It provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in general building operations to demonstrate their competence. It provides a nationally recognised qualification for individuals working in this sector. Assessment

This suite of qualifications are competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units. Assessment is the process of measuring a candidate’s skill, knowledge and understanding against the standards set in the qualification. The qualifications must be assessed in line with the Construction Skills Assessment Strategy and must be internally assessed by an appropriately experienced and qualified assessor.

Card Information

The Level 2 NVQ in Construction Operations will allow learners to demonstrate competence within general building operations.

On completion of the NVQ and a CITB Operatives Health, Safety & Environment Test (minimum requirement) you will be able to apply for a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker CSCS Card.
