Description
About the Course
Where a crane can’t reach, loads are lifted and moved into place by hand-operated equipment such as chain blocks, lever hoists and pull-lifts, rigged from certified strong points. Moving a load in stages from one lifting point to the next like this is known as fleeting. Every rigging and fleeting job needs a competent lift planner to calculate the loads, choose the equipment and write a lift plan the team can follow safely. The NPORS N046 Rigging and Fleeting Loads – Lift Planner course gives you the training, testing and recognised card you need to plan rigging and fleeting operations safely and legally.
Whether you’re stepping into a rigging lift planning role for the first time or you’re an experienced planner who needs to renew, we have a route for you. You can choose a full 2-day novice course or a 1-day refresher course.
