Course Overview

The CITB SSSTS Refresher course is designed for delegates who have previously passed the full 2-day course/refresher course and can provide proof of attendance.

It will bring delegates existing health and safety knowledge up to date and ensure an understanding of responsibilities and accountability for health and safety.

Entry Requirements

• Learners must:.
• Have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
• Hold a valid current SSSTS certificate and be able to provide proof.

Course Content

• Health and Safety at Work Act.
• The Role of the Supervisor.
• Behavioural Safety in the Workplace.
• PPE.
• Site Inductions & Toolbox Talks.
• Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
• Monitor site activities effectively.

Assessment

One (1) Day – Classroom-based and Online Options available

Learners must attend the full day (7.5 hours) and pass the end of course assessment to be eligible for certification.

Certification

Successful candidates will be issued with an CITB Site Management Safety Training

Scheme certificate (valid for 5 years).
